That's some sassy water!


Start with a cucumber, a lemon, and ginger root.  Peel the cucumber and a little of the ginger root; slice the cucumber and grate about 1 teaspoon ginger (more or less, depending on how strong you want it to be).  Squeeze the lemon to get it nice and juicy; slice it up and throw all three ingredients in a pitcher.  Fill with cool, clear water and let chill in the fridge.  Enjoy as a wake-me-up drink in the morning, a remedy for bloating or a tummy ache,  or just a refreshing beverage anytime.  Make sure to strain the water before you drink it!
